Date & Time: February 22, 2025 from 6pm to 11pm

Location: Sunset Cove Amphitheater, 20405 Amphitheater Cir, Boca Raton, FL 33498 

Expected Attendance: 3,000 people

Objective: We are seeking 10 Ribmasters to showcase their ribs through sample tastings, offering exposure to 3,000 attendees in exchange for promotion of their brand by the event organizers.

Prizes: $15,000 Total Awarded to the Top Ribs in TWO Categories!

 We have only have 10 Ribmaster spots available, so we ask that you please confirm your participation as soon as possible to secure your space. We close acceptances when we are full.

PROVIDED BY EVENT

  • 2000 spare ribs or approximately 168 full racks (if they have 12 ribs each). Quantity required to cook may decrease sightly based on number of tickets sold.

  • Three 8 ft tables with disposable tablecloth

  • Plates and napkins

  • 2 chairs

  • 10x10 tent with weights (only if needed an communicated in advance)

  • 2 Complimentary VIP Tickets to the event for staff or guests ($200 value)

  • $1,000 for upfront costs paid to you at the end of the event

  • $15,000 in prize money!

REQUESTED FROM RIBmasterS

  • Cook 2000 ribs in the most unique and mouth-watering way to showcase your skills.

  • Cooking must be done offsite on Friday. On Saturday morning, you can bring your food truck/trailer to the outside gate of the amphitheater to continue cooking/smoking there. During event you will need to warm them either in your truck/trailer or at your booth.

  • Bring enough staff to prepare the ribs and serve to attendees

  • Battery operated lights for inside your tent

  • Other booth necessities such as how you will warm the ribs

  • Promotional material like any brand signage to raise awareness about you. i.e. sign to follow on social

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE: Sat, feb.22.2025

Check In: Arrive as early as 9am, no later than 1pm for check-in/setup.

  • All ribs vendors must check in to receive important information

  • The check in station at the front gate of the amphitheater

Judging: 5pm: Three judges will blindly taste all 10 ribs to vote for the Judge’s Panel Winners.

Festival: 6pm-11pm (we will open doors at 5:45pm)

  • Please note that each attendee will sample from every ribs vendor, but no tickets will be distributed. Make sure to serve anyone who is in line

Breakdown: Starts at 11pm and must be completed by 1am. All oil NOT to be dumped onsite. You need to bring it with you to dump elsewhere.

Ribmaster Expectations

We are looking to work with TEN outstanding ribmasters to create a diverse, mouth-watering experience for our guests. Each vendor will be responsible for preparing:

  • 2,000 ribs (approximately 168 full racks)

  • One distinct rib flavor

We are fully committed to the success of our festivals and have allocated a generous marketing budget to promote the events extensively. Our efforts produce fantastic foot traffic and visibility, leading to a successful outcome for all parties involved.

PROMOTION

Your brewery will receive exposure through our promotional channels, including:

  • Email Blasts: To our growing 10,000 email subscriber database.

  • Social Media Shoutouts: Facebook & Instagram (Ribs is new but SoFlo Strawberry Fest has a robust following so we will utilize cross platform promotion to get the word out.)

  • Website: Your company logo listed as a participating ribs vendor with link to your website on RibsnBrewFest.com

  • Ribmaster logos will appear on promotional banner at South Florida Strawberry Festival

  • Eventbrite: your company listed on our Eventbrite event listing as well

  • Ribmasters in their given space will be able to display promotional materials (flyers, business cards, etc.) at their booths to further promote.
